French disconnection: Sagna leaves the Emirates after seven seasons in north London

Bacary Sagna has agreed to join Manchester City when his Arsenal contract expires on June 30.
Sagna, 31, yesterday said his good-byes to Arsenal after seven years with the Gunners and will officially join City on July 1 on a Bosman.
Arsenal confirmed the defender’s departure on their website today and thanked him for his service during his time with the Gunners, which culminated in last month’s FA Cup win.
The club said: “Everyone at Arsenal Football Club would like to thank Bacary for his fantastic contribution, and wish him all the best for the future.”

Sagna becomes the latest Arsenal star to move to the Etihad, following the likes of Samir Nasri, Gael Clichy, Kolo Toure and Emmanuel Adebayor.
